Straight answers about our team, cover, insurance and how booking works.
What types of events and venues do you cover?
We provide medical cover for festivals, concerts, sporting events, corporate and private functions, nightclubs, bars and other late-night venues, arenas, and film, television and media productions, including complicated-terrain locations. If your event is not listed, get in touch and we will advise on the right level of cover.
What qualifications does your team hold?
Our team includes paramedics, nurses and emergency first responders. FREC 3 is the lowest qualification grade we use, alongside FREC 4, nursing and paramedic grades. Everyone works within a defined framework and scope of practice, and keeps their training up to date.
Are your team insured and vetted?
Yes. All team members are fully insured and vetted, including DBS checks, and hold in-date qualifications. MNSO Medical holds £5m medical malpractice insurance and £5m public liability insurance. Ask us if you need details for your event paperwork.
Do you provide ambulances or patient transport?
No. We provide on-site medical cover and welfare support. We do not provide patient transport or ambulance services, and we do not work with the NHS. If someone needs hospital transport, our team will request it through the emergency services.
How many medics will my event or venue need?
It depends on the size of the event, expected attendance, the type of activity, the location and how long it runs. We assess the risks and recommend a proportionate level of cover. For venues, our small teams start from just two medics.
Can you cover remote or complicated terrain locations?
Yes. We provide medical cover for complicated terrain, such as film sets, music video shoots and advertising productions in remote locations. Tell us about the site and we will plan the team, equipment and access around it.
Do you cover events outside the North East?
Yes. Most of our operations are in Northern England, but we are happy to deliver medical cover anywhere in the UK.
What information do you need to give me a quote?
The date and times, the location or venue, the type of event, expected attendance, and any known risks or special requirements. If you are not sure of some details, send what you have and we will help fill in the gaps.
How quickly will you reply to an enquiry?
After your initial request, a member of our team will get back to you within hours to discuss your needs. For urgent bookings, email hello@mnso.co.uk and say it is urgent.
Do you offer first aid training?
Yes. We deliver certified first aid training for individuals, workplaces and organisations, including First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid, Basic Life Support and AED use, and catastrophic bleed control. Contact us for availability.
